Employee Benefits & Services

Central School District provides a comprehensive package of employee benefits to all eligible employees. The Employee Benefit Handbook is designed to provide assistance to you, the employee, in becoming familiar with your benefit programs and how they work.  Please don't hesitate to contact Frances Davenport in Payroll or Pat Lashbrook in the Business Department for assistance should questions arise.

All new benefit-eligible employees will be provided with enrollment information.  Enrollment forms for new employees must be completed and returned to the district office within 7 days.  Open Enrollment is held every May.  Employees may change medical carriers only at open enrollment.

Blue Cross HMO members may change Primary Care Providers at any time outside of open enrollment simply by calling the 800 number listed on the back of their membership card.

Enrollment of newly acquired dependents must be completed within 31 days of the event.  Late enrollees must wait until the next open enrollment period for coverage to take effect.  Employees who do not complete and return enrollment materials on time may experience a delay in receiving identification cards, possibly incurring initial out-of-pocket costs.  Please refer to the "Benefit Eligibility" link to the left.

Life Changing Events - Please refer to the "Life Events/Change in Eligibility" link to the left.
