Hiring Policy

  • Our District provides Interest Cards to individuals who are interested in positions with
    Central School District.  There are four different types of Interest Cards, a pink card for certificated positions, a yellow for classified positions, a green card for all Instructional Aide positions, and a blue card for substitute teaching positions.  All cards are kept on file in the Human Resources Office for six months. When a position becomes available, all Interest Cards are checked and postings and applications are then sent to all individuals who expressed an interest in the position or positions available. You may contact our
    Human Resources office 
    via e-mail to request the card of your choice. Please include your mailing address in your
    e-mail.
     
  • Unfortunately, applications are not kept on file.  When a position has been filled, the file is closed and we do not refer back to the applications.
     
  • Our district does not distribute or accept applications unless we have a posted opening.
     

Statement Regarding Fingerprint Clearance:

  • Each new employee to Central School District must pass a Criminal Background Investigation
    before officially beginning employment with the district.  The processing fee of $65.00 is the
    responsibility of the new employee.
