The Central School District Advisory Committee is comprised of representatives from School Site Councils, Gifted and Talented (GATE)  Parent Advisory Committee, English Language Learner (ELAC) Committees from each school site and District Administrators.  The DAC meets three times a year to receive updates regarding the Budget/Bond, Curriculum and Instruction, and other pertinent information regarding Central School District.  The committee is also the body which works as a liason to the school community.  Parents are invited to share ideas and concerns with District Administration which assists in future strategic planning, and to share information received in committee with the school community.  2011-2012 scheduled meetings are as follows:  October 11, 2011; January 31, 2012; and April 10, 2012. 

District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

The DELAC is a committee comprised of members of the English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) from each school site.  The DELAC meets three times a year to receive information pertinent to the English Learner community such as CELDT testing results, Redesignation of English Learners, Parent Education for parents of English learners, Title III Plan, and other items that affect the English learner community.  DELAC will be meeting October 11, 2011; January 31, 2012 and April 10, 2012 in the Central School District board room at 7:30 P.M.

GATE Parent Advisory Committee

The GATE Parent Advisory Committee is made up of parents, district personnel and community members.  The committee meets three times a year and serves as an oversight committee for the District GATE Plan and budget as well as providing the forum for sharing of ideas and concerns regarding the GATE students in Central School District.  Dates for GATE Parent Advisory Committee meetings 2011-12 are as follows:  October 11, 2011, January 31, 2012 and April 10, 2012.
