Kindergarten Registration


Online Enrollment for the 2019-20 School Year




Central School District is now accepting online enrollment for students eligible for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

  • Kindergarten – Child must be five years of age on or before September 1st, 2019
  • Transitional Kindergarten – Child must be five years of age between September 2 and December 2, 2019

Online enrollment is the first step in the process to enroll a new student and is intended to save you time. You must have a valid address within the Central School District boundaries to use this system. Information about the student such as emergency contacts and language will be collected. Once the online process is finished and submitted, the student’s information is electronically sent to the school and you will be able to complete the enrollment process at the site.


Enrollment is not complete until all required paperwork is submitted to the school office.


The following items are required to complete your child’s enrollment:

  • Two (2) forms of Proof of Residency - a current rent receipt/escrow papers, gas, water, disposal, telephone, cable, property tax payment, car insurance declaration page, homeowners/renters insurance policy, current pay stub, W-2 form from current tax year, voter registration, correspondence from a government agency or electric bill.  *A Shared Residency Affidavit will be required if living with another family.  This form can be picked up at the school office.
  • Proof of birth date - birth certificate, baptismal certificate, physician/hospital documentation of birth or passport
  • Immunization records provided by a physician or public health agency with a physician or nurse signature (see required immunizations listed below).
  • Health Examination - dated and signed by a physician. Records provided by a physician or public health agency with a physician’s or nurse’s signature/stamp. Child will not be placed in a class or allowed to attend school unless required immunizations are up-to-date.

Required Immunizations:

  • Polio - 4 immunizations (requirement met if 3rd immunization received after child’s 4th birthday)
  • DPT - 5 immunizations (requirement met if 4th immunization received after child’s 4th birthday)
  • MMR - at least 2 immunizations administered after the 1st birthday
  • Hepatitis B - 3 immunizations administered
  • Varicella - 1 immunization or disease documented by physician

State Requirements: Under state law SB277, beginning January 1, 2016, exemptions based on personal beliefs will no longer be an option for the vaccines that are currently required for entry into child care or school in California.
