Pandemic Ebt benefits

Students that qualify for Free or Reduced-Priced Meals this school year are also eligible to receive NEW Pandemic EBT benefits through the State of California in addition to our Grab 'N Go meals. Central School District Meal Borrowing Policy

Students who run out of money on their accounts will be allowed to purchase the meal of their choice and will not be turned away or provided a substitute entree. 

 

Our computerized point of sale system will tally meals purchased and track negative balances as they accrue. Parents and Guardians are responsible for paying negative balances in full and will be sent daily reminders notifying them of the negative balance. To avoid further collection attempts, negative balances must be paid as soon as possible. 

 

Please note that we offer several options for parents who wish to prepay for student meals including an online option that will send you reminders when your student's account balance is low. SUMMER MEALS FOR CHILDREN! 

Attention All Central School District Families:

CSD Food & Nutrition Services will be offering free Grab 'N Go school meals to all children ages 2-18. Children or student ID must be present in order to provide meal.

*JUNE 2 - JUNE 30Meal Pick-Up:  Tuesdays and Thursdays (10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)

  • Central Elementary School - 7955 Archibald Ave
  • Ruth Musser Middle School - 10789 Terra Vista Parkway

In order to maintain Physical Distancing, meals will be placed on a curbside "Pick Up" station once we receive a count of how many children are present. Once meals are picked up, we encourage families to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19 by not congregating at the school site once meals have been distributed.

This is also a friendly reminder to Keep Food Safe! Cold food should be refrigerated as soon as possible. Hot food should be consumed immediately or discarded within 2 hours. Some items will need to be heated at home before consumption. Menus, dates, times, and locations are subject to change.

2019 - 2020 Meal Prices

Breakfast

  • Elementary: $1.00 ($ .30 Reduced)
  • Middle School: $1.25 ($ .30 Reduced)
  • Adult Breakfast: $2.00 (Milk Additional)

Lunch

  • Elementary:  $3.00 ($0.40 for Reduced)
  • Middle: $3.25 ($0.40 for Reduced)
  • Adult Lunch: $4.00 (Milk Additional)

Certain additional items are available on different days of the week such as healthy snacks and juice.

  • Submit a Free or Reduced-Price Meal Application

  • Create settings to receive email notifications when the account reaches a low balance
  • Make a prepayment into your student's meal account with credit card or debit card. Funds deposited through Titan are usually available for student use within a matter of minutes. *The system will charge a fee of $2.60 for credit card processing.
  • Create settings to automatically replenish your student's account when it reaches a low balance
  • Please note: Students with cash are encouraged to deposit the full amount onto their accounts to prepay for meals

  • For your convenience all kitchens have a computerized Point of Sale. 
     
  • Our single lane and multi lane point of sale systems at the elementary and secondary schools offer students complete flexibility when purchasing a Breakfast or Lunch, from pre-payments to reports of your students activity in a confidential manner. 
     
  • The best part is all students are given a student ID number when they enter the district, this same number will be used for meals throughout their years at Central School District. Students use the same number on the student ID cards in the middle schools.
